WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Four Lycoming College student-athletes earned selection to the 2024-25 Landmark Conference All-Sportsmanship Team, the conference announced on Thursday, March 7.
The All-Sportsmanship Team was created by the Landmark Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee in 2013. The All-Sportsmanship team recognizes student-athletes who epitomize the ideals of sportsmanship. They are ambassadors for the team, on and off the field. They galvanize their teammates toward their goals. These student-athletes exhibit respect for themselves, their teammates, coaches, opponents, officials, spectators, and the greater campus community.
Each team nominated one individual who embodied these ideals throughout the season to be a member of the Landmark Conference All Sportsmanship team. The individuals were selected by their coaching staff.
The members of the All-Sportsmanship team include:
Men's Basketball:Â Bernard Rogers, Sr., Philadelphia, Pa./Haverford School
Rogers appeared in 13 games and started seven for the Warriors, posting 12 points, six rebounds, 17 assists and three steals. The Chi Alpha Sigma Athletics Honor Society member notched a career-high five assists against Moravian on Feb. 15.
Women's Basketball: Alicia Goldenziel, Sr., Moscow, Pa./North Pocono
Goldenziel played in 18 games for the Warriors, starting 15 as a post player. She averaged 5.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, the third-best mark on the team. She scored in double figures twice and added 10 five-rebound games.
Men's Swimming & Diving: Will Eberz, So., Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg
Eberz joined the Lycoming swim team as a sophomore and helped lift the team to two dual meet wins. He notched a season-best time of 27.18 in the 50-yard freestyle, a time of 1:00.25 in the 100-yard freestyle and 1:16.40 in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Women's Swimming and Diving: Madison Robbins, FY, Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area
Robbins posted two season-best times during the Landmark Conference Championships, finishing 16
th in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:16.06 and 28
th in the 50-yard freestyle in 27.33.
