Rachel Daub (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale) had three hits and a homer, as the pair paced a 28-hit attack as the Lycoming College softball team posted 11-2 and 7-0 wins in non-conference action at Albright College on Tuesday afternoon, March 18.

Daub moved into seventh in program history with 117 career hits, moving past Morgan Kunes '17 and Jeanine Evans '00, both of whom had 116, in the doubleheader.

Lycoming (8-1 overall) jumped out with two runs in the first inning of the five-inning first game. Alexander singled before she moved to second on a sac bunt, third on an error and scored on a sac fly from Sobieski. Eiswerth followed with an RBI single.

Lycoming added four runs in both the third and the fourth to lead 10-0. Daub started a two-out rally in the fourth with a double before Sobieski homered to left center. Eiswerth followed with an infield single and Rodarmel went deep to left field to cap the rally. In the fourth, McCracken and Alexander each reached with a single before Eckerson walked. A fielder's choice left the bases loaded, but Sobieski singled in one run before Eiswerth delivered a two-RBI single. Rodarmel also singled in a run.

The Warriors scored their last run in the fifth when McCracken singled and scored on a single to left from Eckerson. Albright (0-6 overall) scored two runs in the fifth, but couldn't extend the game.

Slaydon Fisher was 2-for-3 to lead the Lions.

Eiswerth (3-0) earned the win, allowing two hits in three shutout innings. She walked one and struck out five. Kaitlyn Aasheim (0-1) allowed six hits in 2 2/3 innings in the loss for the Lions.

Lycoming got started with two runs in the second game before scoring single runs in the third, fourth and sixth, capping the game with two runs in the seventh of the 7-0 win.

Eckerson singled with one out in the first and scored on a two-out double from Sobieski, who scored on a double from Rodarmel. In the third, Sobieski was hit by a pitch before scoring on a RBI two-out single from McCracken. Daub singled in the fourth before scoring on an error, then homered in the sixth. In the seventh, Alexander reached on a fielder's choice and Eckerson singled, setting up RBI singles from Daub and Rodarmel.

Kendall McAnelly (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) (2-0) threw four innings, allowing four hits and a walk. She struck out one. Eiswerth earned the save, tossing three perfect innings to cap the game, striking out six, including the side in the seventh. Jadelyn Van Winkle (0-3) took the loss, allowing 11 hits and four earned runs in six innings.

The Warriors open their 2025 home slate on Thursday, March 20, when they host Alfred University at 4 p.m., at the Shangraw Athletic Complex Softball Field.
