SCRANTON, Pa.—The Lycoming College men's soccer team fell 2-0 in a Landmark Conference matchup on the road against 15
th-ranked University of Scranton at Weiss Field on Tuesday night, Oct. 7.

Scranton (8-0-3, 3-0) stayed unbeaten on the season, while Lycoming fell to 3-4-4, 0-1-2 in the Landmark.

The Royals took the lead early in the contest as Alex Kozdron scored an unassisted goal in just the fourth minute of the match. Scranton kept their one-score edge for most of the second half, as the Warriors fired off nine shots, including six after halftime, but none of them found the back of the net. The Royals added some insurance in the 76
th minute when Rob Patrissi put one into goal.

Jace Bennett (Falling Waters, W.Va. / Spring Mills) kept Lycoming in the game by earning a career-high nine saves.

The Warriors will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 11 against Moravian University in Landmark Conference action. The match will get underway at 3:30 p.m. from UPMC Field.
