WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—The Lycoming College volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-13, 25-10, 25-10) to No. 5 Juniata University in a Landmark Conference match on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at Lamade Gym.
Three-time defending national champion Juniata (18-2, 5-0)fell behind Lycoming (12-10, 1-4) twice in the third set before the Eagles took control.
The Warriors were led by senior
Cameron Upcraft (Spring Mills, Pa. / Penns Valley) with five kills, while reigning Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week first year
Kamryn Skeith (Monroe, Ma. / Sultan) led the team with six assists and four digs, while also registering her 200th kill of the season.
The Eagles hit .455 in the match and were led by eight kills from Hannah Webber, 19 assists from Mari Hansen, 11 aces from Isabella Rushing and seven digs from Maggie Hayes.
Lycoming will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 17 in a Landmark Conference match on the road at Susquehanna. The match will get underway from Orlando W. Houts Gymnasium at 7 p.m.
