WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Junior Aubrey Williamson (Lititz, Pa. / Warwick) led the Lycoming College women's soccer team to a 2-0 win against Keuka with a goal in each half on Saturday, Sept. 7, at UPMC Field, helping the Warriors to their fourth straight win to open the 2024 campaign.
Sophomore Ella Magee (Selinsgrove, Pa. / Selinsgrove Area) assisted Williamson in scoring the first goal at 14:18 during the first half, while sophomore Mikayla Long (Lewisburg, Pa. / Lewisburg Area) assisted Williamson in securing the Warriors' second goal nine minutes into the second half.
Williamson took nine of the 25 shots that Lycoming had against Keuka (1-2 overall).
Senior Abbey Gerasimoff (Hicksville, N.Y. / Hicksville) made three saves as keeper during the first half, followed by junior Riley Block (Hopatcong, N.J. / Morris Catholic), who made two saves during the second half for the Warriors (4-0 overall). Keuka's Elianna Wilder made 10 saves.
The Warriors play again at UPMC Field on Tuesday, Sept. 10, when they host Elmira College at 4 p.m.
