Eiswerth’s shutout helps Warriors split with Catholic

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Junior Avery Eiswerth (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) threw a four-hit shutout to lift the Lycoming College softball team to a 2-0 win over the Catholic University of America in the first game of a Landmark Conference twinbill on Saturday afternoon, April 27, at the Shangraw Athletic Complex. Senior Kylie Segraves (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) doubled to left to lead off the fourth for the Warriors (14-13 overall, 7-7 Landmark) before she took third on a wild pitch. Senior Rachel DeWolfe (New Cumberland, Pa./Cedar Cliff) delivered a single through the left side with one out to give Lycoming the lead.
