WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - First-year Will Eberz (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) led the Lycoming College golf team with a second-place finish at a tri-meet with King's College and Wilkes University at the par-70, 6,178-yard Wyoming Valley Country Club on Wednesday afternoon, April 10.
Eberz finished seven-over-par with a 77, one stroke behind medallist Matthew Carlson of Wilkes University.
The Warriors notched a 347, their second-best round of the season, finishing 10 strokes behind King's. Wilkes won the meet with a score of 316.
First-year Ross Eyer (Muncy, Pa./Muncy) carded a season-best 87, first-year Mikey Fry (Muncy, Pa./Muncy) notched an 88 and sophomore Kyle Davis (Liberty, Pa./North Penn-Liberty) added a 95.
The Warriors are back on the course with a dual meet against Wilkes University on Saturday, April 13, at 12 p.m., at Huntsville Golf Course.
