BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Sophomore
Jay Huber (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) threw for 284 yards and three touchdowns, including garnering two fourth-quarter scores to bring the Lycoming College football team within two possessions, but Moravian University managed a 34-23 Landmark Conference win at Rocco Calvo Field on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 9.

Huber finished 13-of-27 for 284 yards and the three scores. Sophomore
Terrence Oliver (Sharon Hill, Pa./Academy Park) rushed 14 times for 53 yards and caught three passes for 105 yards and a score. Junior
Dawson Debebe (Schwenksville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) caught two passes for 88 yards and a score and junior
Karson Kline (Clearfield, Pa./Clearfield Area) added three catches for 44 yards and a touchdown.

Mason Hoppes (Unityville, Pa./Hughesville) notched 12 tackles, two for loss and a sack, junior
Matt Trolinger (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) added eight stops, two for loss and first-year
Khalil Johnson (Laurel, Md./Atholton) also had eight tackles and a sack. Sophomore
Tyler Marshall (Trappe, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) had seven stops, a forced fumble and a pass breakup and junior
Michael Sipps (Lawrenceville, Pa./Cowanesque Valley) also had seven tackles, a sack and a forced fumble.

Moravian scored on two of its first three drives to take a 14-0 lead before the Warriors got into field goal position thanks to a 47-yard pass from Huber to Debebe to get to the 15-yard line, setting up a 29-yard field goal from first-year
Kyle Flack (Southampton, Pa./William Tennant), his 10
th of the season.

The Greyhounds scored one more time to take a 21-3 lead into halftime before Huber found Debebe for a 41-yard touchdown to cap a 71-yard drive to make it 21-10 with 6:29 left in the third quarter.

Moravian scored twice more, taking a 34-16 lead before the Warriors rallied when Huber found Kline for a 26-yard score in the middle of the end zone with 7:10 left and Oliver for an 80-yard touchdown reception with 5:01 left to make it 34-23.

The Warriors had a pair of drives in the closing minutes, but couldn't get into Moravian territory.
Jared Jenkins was 22-of-32 for 224 yards and three touchdowns for Moravian and Jordan Bingham had nine catches for 121 yards and a touchdown. Joey Richmond ran nine times for 42 yards and two touchdowns.

Aidan Lane led the Greyhounds had six tackles, 1.5 for loss, a forced fumble and a breakup and Jeremy McGuigan had four tackles, 2.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup to lead the defense.

The Warriors get back in action on Saturday, Nov. 9, when they host sixth-ranked Susquehanna University in the Stagg Hat Trophy game at 12 p.m., at David Person Field to wrap up the 2024 season.
