Brynne Bisel (Julian, Pa./Bald Eagle Area) finished with nine kills and two aces to lead the Lycoming College volleyball team, which held the University of Scranton to a .024 hitting percentage en route to a second set win before falling to the first-place team, 3-1 (25-13, 22-25, 25-13, 25-14), in Landmark Conference action at Lamade Gym on Friday night, Nov. 1.

Cameron Upcraft (Spring Mills, Pa./Penns Valley) added eight kills and four blocks and senior
Camryn Quelet (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) added seven kills for the Warriors (8-16 overall, 2-6 Landmark). Sophomore
Ima Mercado (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata) added 19 assists and sophomore
Haley Balgavy (Warrenton, Va./Kettle Run) posted 11 assists, six digs and three aces.

Ali Koval (Mansfield, Pa./North Penn-Mansfield) posted 12 digs to move within 11 of becoming the fifth player in school history to scoop up 1,500 in a career and senior

The Warriors jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the second set and fought through eight ties and two lead changes, breaking a tie at 22 with a kill from Upcraft before Quelet capped the 25-22 set win with her own kill.

The Royals (16-11 overall, 8-0 Landmark), who head to top-ranked Juniata on Saturday for a showdown of the top two teams in the conference, hit .300 in the match, hitting better than .400 in all three sets it won.

Kassidy Means led the Royals with 14 kills, Katherine Denitz added 11 and Erin Keaveney posted 10. Gianna Detorie added 26 assists and Camryn Hoffman led the team with 15 digs. Danielle Kramer notched five blocks.

The Warriors conclude the 2024 season on Saturday, Nov. 2, when they host Drew University in Landmark Conference action at 12 p.m. in Lamade Gym. The team's seven seniors will be honored prior to the match.
