Mikayla Long (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area) scored her seventh goal of the year on a penalty kick in the 80
th minute to help the Lycoming College women's soccer team comeback to draw with Susquehanna University, 1-1, in Landmark Conference action at Sassafras Field on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 30.

The draw snaps an eight-game winning streak for the River Hawks (1-5-3 overall, 0-0-2 Landmark) in the River Derby, as Susquehanna holds a 12-2-2 advantage since the trophy was instituted. The Warriors (4-1-4 overall, 0-0-2 Landmark) tied the program record for draws in a season with their fourth tie, tying the mark set by the 2008 team (5-8-4).

Lycoming took eight shots in the game while Susquehanna took 11, with the River Hawks scoring in the 55
th minute. The Warriors took four shots in the minutes after that, but it took a handball in the corner of the 18-yard box to set up Long's tying goal, as she scored her third penalty kick of the season.

Sophomore
Riley Block (Hopatcong, N.J./Morris Catholic) stopped one shot in net for the Warriors and Kayleigh Saboja had two stops for the River Hawks.

The Warriors get back on the field on Tuesday, Oct. 3, when they host regionally-ranked University of Scranton in Landmark Conference action at 7 p.m., at UPMC Field.
