HOBOKEN, N.J. – The No. 5-seeded Lycoming College women's lacrosse team fell in a MAC Freedom Championship semifinal to No. 1 Stevens Institute of Technology, 21-4, as four Lycoming players found the back of the net on Wednesday, May 3, at the DeBaun Athletic Complex.
Sophomore
Katie Maguire (Garnerville, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) scored once and won two draw controls. She ends her season with a 68 goals, the eighth-most in program history, nine assists, 77 points, and 104 draw controls. First-year
Riley Block (Hopatcong, N.J./Morris Catholic) scored a goal and won two draw controls, ending her season with 56 goals, 15 assists, 71 points, and 33 draw controls. Senior
Tess Arnold (Elmira, N.Y./Elmira) and sophomore
Kailey Stocker (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland Regional) also scored.

Alexa Baldwin (Bel Air, Md./Harford Tech) had the Warriors' lone assist of the game, finishing the season sixth in program history with 29 assists, and senior
Madison Wineburg led the team with three ground balls, finishing the season 14th in program history with 63 ground balls.

Stopping an early three-goal run by the Ducks at 10:58 in the first, Arnold got the Warriors on the board with a shot from outside the crease after gaining possession in the Ducks' defensive zone and running the ball in unassisted.

A man-up opportunity in the third quarter saw Maguire tally under siege from several Ducks defenders, scoring from inside the arc. Awarded another man-up chance, Baldwin found Block at the left-goal post before Block ran the crease for a low shot on goal.

With 21 seconds remaining in regulation, Stocker scored the final goal on a free-position shot.

Camryn Rogers led the Ducks with six goals, an assist, a ground ball and a draw control. Morgan Westerby scored four goals and Zoe Cook notched three.

Junior goalkeeper
Zoe Stauffer (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) made 10 saves for the Warriors, finishing the year sixth in program history with 194 stops this year and third in program history with 466 career stops. Lauren Cuniff and Felicity Heilferty combined for five saves for the Ducks.
Arnold finished her career with 37 goals, 31 assists, 89 ground balls, 50 caused turnovers and 124 draws. Wineburg posted 96 ground balls and 42 caused turnovers and senior
Gabriella Haug (Barrington, N.H./Oyster River) posted 45 ground balls and 26 caused turnovers.
