SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Lycoming College football team had a run of 10 straight points encompassing halftime to close within 11 points of 10
th-ranked Susquehanna University, but Susquehanna scored the game's last four touchdowns to post a 49-10 win in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Hat game at Amos Alonzo Stagg Field on Saturday, Nov. 11.

With the win, Susquehanna (10-0 overall, 6-0 Landmark) clinched the first Landmark Conference football title, while Lycoming (4-6 overall, 4-2 Landmark) finished in a tie for second with Wilkes (4-6 overall, 4-2 Landmark). The Warriors will play on the road at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference's top-seeded team in the Chesapeake Bowl Classic on Saturday, Nov. 18.

Susquehanna scored on three of its first four possessions before Lycoming got onto the board with a nine-play 26-yard drive after a failed onside kick attempt. Using Benson to carry the load, the Warriors drove to the 18-yard line, where Plankenhorn hit a 31-yard field goal with 8:38 left in the half.

In the third quarter, the Warriors got the opening kickoff and embarked on a 12-play, 65-yard touchdown drive, with Fish finding Debebe for an eight-yard score with 10:14 left in the half.

Josh Ehrlich finished 9-of-18 for 104 yards and two scores and he rushed 15 times for 110 yards. Tommy Grabowski rushed 21 times for 110 yards and a score and Bobby Croyle went 8-of-12 for 152 yards and two scores. Kyle Howes caught four passes for 70 yards and two touchdowns.

Drew Robinson had nine tackles for the River Hawks and Josh Parson had six tackles, 1.5 for loss and a fumble recovery.
