WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Eight Lycoming College softball players earned All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2021-22 academic year from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association, announced by the organization on Monday, Aug. 1.

Six Warriors received the honor for a second time including, senior
Angie King (Cooperstown, Pa./Maplewood), juniors
Madalyn Bechdel (Beech Creek, Pa./Central Mountain),
Kaleigh Kinley (Bellefonte, Pa./Bald Eagle Area),
Morgan Wetzel (Mill Hall, Pa./Central Mountain), sophomores
Kylie Russell (Cogan Station, Pa./Jersey Shore Area), and
Missy Van Klingeren (Byram Township, N.J./Lenape Valley Reg.).

First-years
Rachel Daub (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale) and
Jacqueline Snyder (Cogan Station, Pa./Williamsport Area) earned their first recognition.
All eight players helped the Warriors record a 3.38 total team GPA for the 2021-22 academic year, as honorees must record a 3.5 GPA or higher during the academic year to receive the award.
