Kenny Clapp (Baltimore, Md./Archbishop Curley) stepped up to take the final penalty kick of the night, finding the back of the net to send the No. 3-seed Lycoming College men's soccer team to the MAC Freedom Championship final, drawing No. 2-seed Misericordia University 2-2, before winning 5-4 in penalty kicks in the conference semifinal on Thursday night, Nov. 3.
Before Clapp's turn in the penalty kick lineup, junior goalkeeper
Nick Wilke (Mercerville, N.J./Notre Dame) stonewalled the sixth penalty shot the Cougars, his second stop of the penalty kick period.
The Warriors (10-4-6 overall) advance to the conference title game against No.1-seed and fourth-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology on Saturday, Nov. 5, for a 7 p.m. kickoff in Hoboken, N.J.

In the first overtime period, sophomore
Jaeden Asare (Letterkenny, Ireland/Perry Hall (Md.)) gave the Warriors a 2-1 lead from the top of the box as Chamovitz passed out of the box to him. Asare led the Warriors with four shots on goal.
The Cougars (11-3-5 overall) tied the game twice, their first goal in the 87
th minute sent the game to overtime by Luke Ferrarese, and the second that sent the game to a penalty kick shootout by Anthony Yarbinee in the second overtime.

Dylan Sloan (Essex, Md./Archbishop Curley), and Clapp combined for the five goals during the shootout.
Wilke ended the night with four saves on 18 shots in regulation before stopping two of the six penalty kicks. Cougars' goalkeeper Andrew Daubenspeck finished the game with five saves.
