Katryn Yocum (Carlisle, Pa./Boiling Springs) earned medallist honors in a 4K-pop-up race with local rival, Penn College, on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 2, leading the Lycoming College women's cross country team to a 23-32 win at Canfield Park.

The Warriors finished 1-2-5-6-9 to earn 23 points while the Wildcats took 3-4-7-8-10. Senior
Claire Shaffer (Sayre, Pa./Sayre Area) took second in 18:32, senior
Ha-anh Lamont (Hanoi, Vietnam/Olympia School) came in fifth in 22:24, senior
Mariah Rovenolt (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) took sixth in 22:42 and junior
Rachel DeWolfe (New Cumberland, Pa./Cedar Cliff) rounded out the team's runners, taking ninth in 26:13.

Penn College's top runner was Skyelar Splain, who took third in 19:24. Splain was a top-20 finisher at the United East Conference Championship.

The Warriors will wrap up the season on Saturday, Nov. 12, when they head to the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional in Lock Haven, Pa. The women will run at 11 a.m. and the men will begin at 12 p.m.
