LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Finishing out the 2022 season at the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional, sophomore
Katryn Yocum (Carlisle, Pa./Boiling Springs) led the Lycoming College cross country teams with a program-best 58
th-place finish on Saturday, Nov. 12, at the West Branch Cross Country Course.
Yocum's 58
th-place finish is the Lycoming women's program's eighth top-100 finish at the race and 32 spots better than Michelle Herman's 80
th-place (24:48) finish in 2012. Yocum's final time of 23:49.7 broke her previous-best time (23:56.7), taking its place as the second-fastest in program history, just a second off the school-record time of 23:49 held by Kaylee Long. It was fastest time by a Warrior at the NCAA Regionals.
Four other Warriors finished in the top-200 as junior
Ali Clemens (Souderton, Pa./Souderton Area) finished 154
th at 27:07.4, senior
Claire Shaffer (Sayre, Pa./Sayre Area) finished 173
rd at 28:06.3, sophomore
Isabella Fave (Middleburg, Pa./Midd-West) finished 185
th with a season-best 29:49.7, and junior
Madisyn Neal (Roaring Branch, Pa./Canton) rounded out the top five, finishing 195
th at 31:24.7. Sophomore
Madeline O'Conner (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) finished 196
th at 31:31.3 and senior
Mariah Rovenolt (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) finished 204
th with a season-best 34:27.5.
The women's cross country team finished 27
th out of a field of 29 with 724 points. The Lycoming men's team finished 32
nd.

Kenneth Draper (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville) led the Warriors on the men's side, as he placed 118
th at 28:23.2, the third-best time for a men's runner at the regional. Senior
Garrett Lee (Hollywood, Md./Leonardtown) ran a season-best 31:46.3 at 188
th, senior
Caleb Reigle (Mount Wolf, Pa./Northeastern) finished 197
th at 32:24.0, sophomore
Sean McKenna (Campbell, N.Y./Campbell-Savona) finished 210
th at 35:21.2, and sophomore
Nate Noel (Sparta, N.J./Sussex Tech) rounded out the top five, finishing 215
th at 38:34.6. Sophomore
Brandon Chiguichon (Chicago, Ill./ITW David Speer Academy) finished 218
