WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.- Sophomore
Joe Bamfo (Ronkonkoma N.Y./Connetquot) scored two goals to lead the Lycoming College men's soccer team, as it ended Lebanon Valley College's five-game win streak in a 3-2 victory Saturday afternoon, Sept. 18, at UPMC Field.

The Flying Dutchmen (5-1 overall) took the lead early in the first half, but Bamfo struck just a minute later after driving home an unassisted goal thanks to a nice run in the seventh minute of the first half to tie the game 1-1.

Jaeden Asare (Rosedale, Md./Perry Hall) gave the Warriors a two-goal lead in the 75
th minute as he headed a big throw-in from junior
Brayden Wise (Baltimore, Md./Archbishop Curley) into the right corner of the net. The goal turned out to be critical, as the Dutchmen scored with three minutes remaining off a laser from 35 yards out.

Zack Donoway (Newark Md./Snow Hill) made eight saves on nine shots on goal while Sean Quirk made 14 saves on 17 shots on goal.

The Warriors return to the field on Wednesday, Sept. 22, when they face Mount Aloysius at 7 p.m. in Cresson, Pa.
