WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – After falling behind 4-3 in the second set, senior
Madi Heller (Cogan Station, Pa./Williamsport Area) came back to win four of the last five games to clinch the Lycoming College women's tennis team's first win of the year, 5-4, over MAC Freedom foe King's College on Saturday, April 24, at Kirby Park.

Heller won her match, 6-1, 7-5 over Addie Atkins at No. 3, capping off the win that was keyed by the play of first-years
Mia Shuler (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) and
Hannah Seebold (New Columbia, Pa./Milton Area).

The duo posted an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles over Diana Rodriguez and Alexis Zalutko. Shuler followed with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Rodriguez at No. 1 and Seebold downed Zalutko, 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2.

Freshman
Haley Seebold (New Columbia, Pa./Milton Area) added a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles, as the Warriors won four of the five singles matches.

Lycoming improved to 1-6 overall and 1-3 in the MAC Freedom. King's fell to 0-7 overall and 0-5 in the MAC Freedom.

The Warriors will get back on the court on Wednesday, April 28, when they head to DeSales University for a 3 p.m. match.
