HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles helped lift the Lycoming College women's tennis team to a 5-4 win at Juniata College on Tuesday evening, Oct. 5, at Raffensperger Courts.

The duo of first-years
Rei Saar (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) and
Emily Engelhardt (Beachwood, N.J./Central Regional) accounted for the final two of the team's five wins and sophomore
Emily Wolfgang (Allenwood, Pa./Montgomery Area) added a singles and doubles win to make up another two.

Saar, who improved to 8-1 in singles play, teamed with first-yearÂ
Addison Angstadt (Mohrsville, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) to post an 8-3 win over Mia Kazakavage and Courtney Eller at No. 3 doubles and followed that with a 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5 singles over Kazakavage. Engelhardt added a 6-0, 6-1 win over Eller at No. 6 doubles to clinch the win

Wolfgang teamed with sophomore
Haley Seebold (New Columbia, Pa./Milton Area) to post an 8-5 win over Kady Lohr and Marilyn Ogof at No. 2 doubles, coming back from a 5-4 deficit with four straight wins, and then defeated Ogof, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 3 singles.

The Warriors improved to 2-2 overall and Juniata fell to 1-5.

The Warriors get back into action on Thursday, Oct. 7, when they host Lock Haven University at 3:30 p.m. at Brandon Park.
