WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College women's soccer team outshot FDU-Florham by 10 shots, thanks to a flurry of second-half shots, but two first-half FDU-Florham goals helped it to a 2-0 win on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 16, at UPMC Field.

Bridget Maaluom (Lynbrook, N.Y./Sacred Heart Academy) led the Warriors (9-4-1 overall, 2-1-1 MAC Freedom) with five shots on goal, but the Devils (11-4-1 overall, 4-1-1 MAC Freedom) were able to walk out with the shutout thanks to a 13-save effort from Erica Blackburn.

The Devils got on the board with an unassisted 40-yarder from Francesca Escudero off of a corner kick deflection in front of the goal in the 11
th minute. Their second goal in the 27
th minute was headed in by Ashley Dietrich at the left post from a corner kick by Tatiana Nieto.

Jess Riordan (Vineland, N.J./Our Lady of Mercy) made six saves for the Warriors.

The Warriors return to play on Wednesday, Oct. 20, as they host 10
th-ranked Misericordia University in MAC Freedom action at 4 p.m. at UPMC Field.
