Megan Oyler (Bedford, Pa./Bedford), who found the back of the net for a golden goal with 1:07 remaining in the first overtime period, lifting the Lycoming College women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Marywood University on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 17 at UPMC Field.

The Warriors (4-2-1 overall) have a 3-0-1 record in their last four games, the longest stretch without a loss since 2016, after downing the reigning Atlantic East Conference champs.

The game-winner gives Oyler a tie for the team-lead in goals (2) and Sarracco her first assist.

In a back-and-forth affair, both teams took 21 shots, including 13 on goal. Marywood did put the ball in the back of the net late in the second half, but the goal was waved off due to an offsides call, setting the Warriors up for the chance to win in overtime, when the team fired six shots on net before Oyler's goal.

Sarracco led the team with seven shots, with five of them coming on goal. Sophomore
Alicia Blizzard (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) fired off three.

Jess Riordan (Vineland, N.J./Our Lady of Mercy) reached double-digit saves for the third time this season, making 13 stops in her first career shutout. Bella DiToma made 12 saves in the full 98 minutes for the Pacers (1-4 overall). Antonella Doglio took a game high nine shots for the Pacers.

The Warriors are back on the field on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 1:30 p.m., when they travel to Immaculata University for a non-conference game at Draper Walsh Stadium.
