WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Two matches went a full three sets, but the Lycoming College women's tennis team fell to FDU-Florham, 9-0, in non-conference action at Bruce Henry Park on Friday afternoon, Sept. 28.

Several of Lycoming's singles matches were hotly contested, with junior
Brittany Lenze (St. Mary's, Pa./Elk County Catholic) falling to Christine Kenny, 6-7 (4), 7-5,
10-8, in a superset tiebreaker at No. 2 singles and senior
Kimberleigh Parroccini (Warren, Pa./Warren) fell to Allyson Wolf, 1-6, 6-3, 6-0. At No. 1 singles, junior
Hannah Summerson (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) overcame a 4-0 deficit in the first set before winning four straight games, but Nicole DelRosso was able to post a 6-4, 6-2 win.

The Warriors fell to 1-2 overall and FDU-Florham improved to 2-0.

The Warriors get back on the court on Thursday, Oct. 4, when they face Penn College at 4 p.m. at Bruce Henry Park.
