Alysa McDevitt (Warminster, Pa./Archbishop Wood) reached 500 career kills and junior
Lilly Singleton (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) reached 400, as the Lycoming College volleyball team hit a season-best .326 to post a 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-20) win over Elmira College to wrap up the first day at the Worthington Classic at Gallaudet University. In the first match, Lycoming fell to Marymount (Va.), 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-13).

Singleton posted 11 kills and eight digs, giving her 406 kills in her career, and McDevitt added seven kills to give her 502 in her career while also posting seven blocks. Senior
Emily Hepner (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) finished with 12 digs as well, moving past 1,900 career digs.

Sophomore
Kiannah Titus (Clay, N.Y./Baldwinsville) posted nine kills, two blocks and two aces and sophomore
Elle Jednorski (Forest Hill, Md./Fallston) finished with six kills and two blocks for the Warriors (10-7 overall). Junior
Katie Hausknecht (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus) posted five kills and six blocks. Freshman
Abigail Harney (Center Moriches, N.Y./Center Moriches) finished with 28 assists.

The Warriors held the Soaring Eagles (6-9 overall) to a .165 hitting percentage thanks to nine blocks, as Natalie Schieder led the team with 11 kills. Kasey Campbell posted 18 digs and Taylor Kaznowski finished with 34 assists and two aces.

Against Marymount, the Warriors held the Saints (13-2 overall) to .255 hitting, but Marymount was able to still post 39 kills in a three-set win.

Singleton, Jednorski, McDevitt and Hausknecht each had four kills to lead the Warriors. Harney notched 14 assists and two aces and Hepner posted 17 digs.

Mykael Johnson had eight kills to lead the Saints and Myah Cordrey had six kills. Maggie Viniard posted 24 assists and Caroline Hanson added seven aces. Theresa Buscemi finished with 13 digs.

The Warriors get back on the court on Saturday, Sept. 29, with the second day of the Worthington Classic, which kicks off with a match against FDU-Florham at 12 p.m.
