ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - The Lycoming College women's tennis team fell to Elizabethtown College, 8-0, in a non-conference match on Satuday afternoon, Sept. 15.
 
Senior Brittany Lenze (St. Mary's, Pa./Elk County Catholic) and junior Hannah Summerson (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) played tough at No. 1 doubles, falling to Elizabethtown's Lenea Riehl and Kailey Caroland 9-8 (6). Coming off the first solo win of her young career, freshman Wiliana Lundy (Hyde Park, N.Y./Franklin D. Roosevelt) gave Laura Gibble a tough match in No. 5 singles, dropping a 6-4, 6-2 decision.
 
The Warriors fall to 1-1 overall and Elizabethtown improves to 1-0.
 
The Warriors are back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 3 p.m. when they head to Selinsgrove, Pa. to take on Susquehanna University in a non-conference match.
