Megan Oyler (Bedford, Pa./Bedford) scored her fourth goal of the season, but the Lycoming College women's soccer team fell to MAC Commonwealth opponent Hood College, 3-1, on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 27.

Jayden Leighow (Unityville, Pa./Hughesville) dribbled to the end line and found a cutting Oyler, who got a shot off from four yards out past the right of the keeper in the final minute of action for the lone goal for the Warriors (2-16 overall, 1-7 MAC Commonwealth). Leighow finished with three assists on the season, the second-best mark on the team.

The Blazers (5-11 overall, 2-6 MAC Commonwealth) received a first-half goal from Colby Painter and goals from Erin Scarborough and Sam Plinke in the second half.

Helen Ross (Hellertown, Pa./Saucon Valley) had six saves in her final game as a Warrior. Lydia Erickson earned the win with a save before being relieved in the 77
th minute by Rachel Knoebel.
