WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Four Lycoming College men's soccer players scored in a dominant first half as second-seeded Lycoming defeated No. 3-seed Lebanon Valley College, 5-1, in the MAC Commonwealth Championship semifinal on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 1, at the Shangraw Athletic Complex.

"We came out flying. We knew that one had to go and one had to stay. We didn't want to stay so we kept moving forward," junior
Sainclair Tueno (Silver Spring, Md./Montgomery Blair) said of the fast start. "We came out and knew that we had nothing to lose so we just kept going at them."

Lycoming (17-2 overall) advances to the MAC Commonwealth Championship for the fourth time in five years where it will hit the road to face top-seeded Messiah on Saturday, Nov. 4 at a time to be determined.

The Warriors got off to a blistering start, playing some of its best soccer of the season. Tueno scored his team-leading ninth goal in the seventh minute when senior
Jordan Logan (Oxford, Pa./Oxford Area) fired a short pass to Tueno, from about eight yards out, turned and lifted the shot into the upper left corner for the 1-0 lead.

th minute, Logan found senior and fellow First Team All-MAC Commonwealth selection
Abdullahi Abdi (Seattle, Wash./James Garfield) just inside the 18-yard box and Abdi placed a rocket of a kick into the upper corner. It was Abdi's sixth goal of the season and Logan's second assist of the game, fifth of the season and 17
th of his career, moving him into the top 10 in program history.

Kyle Stettenbauer (Columbia, Pa./Hempfield) added his third goal of the season in the 20
th minute, when he shot from about 10-yards out off a deflection for the 3-0 lead. Sophomore
Daniel Anwanwan (Manassas, Va./Stonewall Jackson), plaing in his first conference tournament game, scored his second goal of the year when freshman
Alex Henry (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) dribbled to the end line and crossed in a pass to the six-yard box, where Anwanwan blasted it in.
