Madi Welliver (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) set a new career high with 11 saves, but the Lycoming College women's soccer team fell to regionally-ranked Lebanon Valley College, 5-1, in a MAC Commonwealth game on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 4, at Herbert Field.

Madi McConnell (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) scored her first goal as a Warrior in the 80
th minute when she netted a free kick from about 20 yards out for the team's only score.

Lebanon Valley (5-1-3, 1-0 MAC Commonwealth), ranked 10
th in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll, led 1-0 at the half before scoring four in the second half. Rileigh Jo Evitts scored in the first half and added another one early in the second. Meghan Ross scored three second-half goals.

Lycoming (3-7-1, 0-2 MAC Commonwealth) returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 7, when they head to Glenside, Pa., to take on Arcadia, ranked seventh in the Mid-Atlantic Region, in another conference match at 5:30 p.m.
