WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Double-doubles from senior
Catherine Burger (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford) and sophomore
Emily Morris (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Sachem North) helped the Lycoming College volleyball team finish a 3-2 (8-25, 27-25, 23-25, 25-21, 15-12) come-from-behind win in the season finale to cap a tri-match at King's College on Friday, Oct. 27. The Warriors fell in the opening match of the meet, 3-0 (18-25, 21-25, 22-25), to King's.

Burger finished her career with a 17-assist, 10-dig performance in the win over the Pacers (12-17 overall), as she also added five kills, an ace and a block. Morris finished with 16 assists, 12 digs, four aces and two kills, as the two setters led the Warriors (14-19 overall) to the win.

Burger finished her career third in school history with 3,433 career assists, 10
th with 147 aces and 23
rd with 776 digs. Junior
Emily Hepner (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) finished the two matches with 46 digs, moving her into second in school history with 1,608 digs, as she moved past Kristin Whitehead (2011-14; 1,601).

Freshman
Kiannah Titus (Clay, N.Y./Baldwinsville) posted 11 kills, five digs and three blocks while hitting .476 and freshman
Elle Jednorski (Forest Hill, Md./Fallston) added 10 kills. Sophomore
Katie Hausknecht (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus) posted seven kills and four blocks and Hepner posted 24 digs, six assists and four aces.

After hitting for a negative hitting percentage in the first set, the Warriors notched 37 kills, getting back into the match before slamming seven kills in the final 15-12 win.

Peri Sheerin and Gabriella Santos each had 16 kills for the Pacers. Sam Compton led the team with 13 digs and four aces and Annie Heyen finished with 41 assists and 10 digs.

King's (19-10 overall) scooped up 61 digs in the first match to stymy a strong-hitting Warriors squad that dropped down 40 kills, as it picked up a 3-0 win.

Sophomore
Alysa McDevitt (Warminster, Pa./Archbishop Wood) led the Warriors with nine kills and three blocks and Hausknecht added eight kills and three digs. Jednorski finished with six kills. Burger posted 12 assists and three digs and Morris finished with 14 assists and two digs. Hepner finished with 22 digs and Titus notched five kills and seven digs.

Katelyn Shifflett and Jill Korgeski each had 12 kills, with Shifflett finishing with four blocks, to lead the Monarchs, while Rachel Miller posted nine kills and 23 digs. Maddie Kumm posted 35 assists and 11 digs.
