The Warriors fell in the second game of the doubleheader, 3-1, to conclude their 2016 season.
Â
The win helped the Warriors (20-19 overall, 4-12 MAC Commonwealth) reach the 20-win mark for the sixth time in school history, as the squad finished above .500 for the first time since 2005 and the 12

Â
The two hits were all the Warriors would get, but it was all they needed. Shady didn't allow more than one baserunner in an inning during the game and let just two reach second base. To cap the game, she turned a double play, when catching a liner back to her and getting the ball over to first to gun down a runner that reached on a fielder's choice.

Â
Down 3-0, in the sixth inning, the Warriors rallied thanks to senior
Chelsey Poorman (Bellefonte, Pa./Bald Eagle Area), who drilled a triple to right field to lead off the sixth. A sac fly by senior
Elisa Novak (Ambler, Pa./Germantown Academy) scored Poorman two batters later.
Â
In the seventh inning, Secord singled to lead off to bring the tying run to the plate, but Rabuck got two popouts and a strikeout to end the inning.
Â
Ally Horvath led the Pride, going 2-for-4 with an RBI.

nd), 39 hits (4
th) and 24 RBI (6
