LANGHORNE, Pa. – Sophomore
James Hamm (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) and junior
Sarah Donovan (Bergen, N.Y./Byron-Bergen) each posted top-25 finishes to pace the Lycoming College cross country teams, which saw 12 runners finish with career-best times at the Highlander XC Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19.

Hamm finished 20
th in a field of 112 runners to lead the men's cross country team, as he became the first runner to cross the 30-minute mark on an 8K course this year, finishing in 29:19.90. The team also posted its best finish of the year, finishing fifth in a 12-team field.

Junior
Jacob Miller (Cooperstown, N.Y./Cooperstown Central) finished second for the team, taking 32
nd with a time of 30:12.93 and sophomore
Sean Hastings (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) finished 39
th in 31:10.22. Freshman
Nick Pisani (New Egypt, N.J./New Egypt) was one of five men to post a career-best, finishing in 31:23.74 and sophomore
Joseph Ingrum (Lodi, Calif./Lodi) also factored into the scoring for the men, taking 58
th in 32:44.80. Rounding out the top seven were senior
Jacob McClain (Cogan Station, Pa./Jersey Shore) in a career-best 33:32.81 and junior
Dan Yoder (Montoursville, Pa./Homeschooled) in 34:00.24.

James Vilardo (Hopatcong, N.J./Hopatcong) (34:14.16) and senior
James Krizan (Montoursville, Pa./Homeschooled) (35:24.36) rounded out the team's career-bests.

Donovan, meanwhile, posted her second top-30 finish of the season to lead the women's cross country team to an eighth-place finish in a 15-team field. Donovan notched a time of 25:38.62, just four seconds off her career-best time on a 6K course, as she finished 25
th in a 142-runner field.

Lindsay Decker (Shapleigh, Maine/Massabesic) took second for the team and 39
th overall, finishing in 26:03.82 and sophomore
Rachel Fritz (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale) paced a group of seven Warriors to notch career bests, as she finished 55
th with a time of 27:00.67. Senior
Anna Summers (Shamokin, Pa./Shamokin Area) finished 64
th in 27:53.90 and sophomore
Lindsay Smith (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) took 68
th in 27:56.81. To round out the top seven, senior
Rachel Salmon (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) posted a time of 28:22.54 to take 70
th and freshman
Haby Goloko (Baltimore, Md./Digital Harbor) added a career-best time of 28:31.67 to take 72
