WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Senior
Meghenn Jackson (Arnold, Md./Broadneck) scored twice to lead her current team, the Lycoming College women's soccer team, past her former team, Anne Arundel Community College, in a 5-0 win at the Shangraw Athletic Complex on Saturday, Sept. 19.

Junior
Leanne Shaw (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford) got the Warriors on the board in the first minute, getting inside for a rebound off the goalkeeper and firing the ball into the left corner. Jackson added another goal in the 36
th minute, scoring with a  nice shot into the left corner from 15 yards out to give Lycoming a 2-0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, the Warriors found the back of the net three times, with junior
Madison Walmer (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) finding Jackson for a goal in the 51
st minute before sophomore
Jordan Lazarich (Deer Park, N.Y./Deer Park) scored unassisted in the 55
th. Junior
Olivia Mendler (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) assisted senior
Nour Hasan (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) for the final score in the 64
th minute.

Anne Arundel was able to get just one shot off while Lycoming took 26, including 19 in the second half. Savannah Vickery made seven saves for the Riverhawks. Freshman
Helen Ross (Hellertown, Pa./Saucon Valley) and sophomore
Joelle Winey (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata) combined on the shutout for Lycoming.

Because the game was not against a four-year institution, the game is not a part of the team's official NCAA results or statistics.

The Warriors get back on the field on Tuesday, Sept. 22, when they host King's (Pa.) at 4 p.m. at the Shangraw Athletic Complex.
