WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Five members of the Lycoming College cross country teams set career highs on Saturday morning, Sept. 12, to pace the team on a wet course, with the women's team finishing 10
th in a field of 15 teams and the men's team finishing 11
th.

Three women's runners posted career-best times on the 6K course, led by a time of 28:31.39 from sophomore
Rachel Fritz (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale), while freshman
Haby Golocko (Baltimore, Md./Digital Harbor) posted a time of 29:52.29 and junior
Abigail O'Connor (Mt. Holly Springs, Pa./Home-schooled) notched a time of 31:26.35.

Two freshmen men also added career-bests on an 8K course, with
Nick Pisani (New Egypt, N.J./New Egypt) posted a career-best 32:05.96 and
James Vilardo (Hopatcong, N.J./Hopatcong) added a time of 34:24.91.

Junior
Sarah Donovan (Bergen, N.Y./Byron-Bergen) led the women's team, posting a time of 27:35.54 to finish 65
th in the field of 187 runners, while senior
Lindsay Decker (Shapleigh, Maine/Massabesic) was 74
th, finishing in 28:03.90. Fritz took third on the team, finishing 86
th, while sophomore
Lindsay Smith (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) (29:50.79, 118
th) and Golocko (119
th) rounded out the team's scoring five. Senior
Anna Summers (Shamokin, Pa./Shamokin Area) came in 125
th in 30:10.71 and senior
Rachel Salmon (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) took 131
st in 30:28.46 to cap the team's seven placewinners.

Jacob Miller (Cooperstown, N.Y./Cooperstown Central) paced the men's team, finishing 73
rd in 30:43.96 and sophomore
Sean Hastings (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) took 82
nd in 31:26.88 in the field of 165 runners. Pisani took third for the team and 96
th overall, sophomore
Joseph Ingrum (Lodi, Calif./Lodi) finished 121
st in 33:26.96 and junior
John Woodburn (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) rounded out the top five in 33:52.71 to take 128
th. Vilardo finished 130
th and junior
Bryant Dietrick (Muncy, Pa./Muncy Area) capped the team's top seventh in 133
rd with a time of 34:53.08.

The Warriors get back in action on Saturday, Sept. 19, when they head to the Highlander Cross Country Invitational in Langhorne, Pa. The women's race begins at 11 a.m. and the men at 12 p.m.
