HERSHEY, Pa. – Junior
Zach Layser (Myerstown, Pa./ELCO) once again led the Lycoming College golf team at the Elizabethtown Spring Invitational at the par-71, 6,372-yard Hershey Country Club East Course, as he shot a 91 on Thursday, April 9, in rainy, overcast conditions.

The Warriors finished 11
th in the field of 13 teams with a 382, with Messiah taking the tournament title with a score of 308 and Jordan Kirsch earned medalist honors with a 71.

Senior
Nic McGee (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) fired a 95, freshman
Jess Treur (Zuidoostbeemster, Netherlands/DaVinci College Purmerend) shot a 96 in his first collegiate round and senior
John Koch (Schuylkill Haven, Pa./Blue Mountain) had a 100 to round out the scoring four. Freshman
Hailey Fricke (Denver, Pa./Garden Spot) shot a 107.

The Warriors get back on the course on Thursday, April 16, when they head to the Messiah Spring Invitational at the Blue Ridge Country Club with tee-off set for 12:30 p.m.
