WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Junior
Meghenn Jackson (Arnold, Md./Broadneck/Anne Arundel C.C.) became the sixth player in school history to reach 60 goals in a season to highlight the day for the Lycoming College women's lacrosse team, as it fell to Stevenson University, 21-4, in Commonwealth Conference action at the Shangraw Athletic Complex on Tuesday, April 21.

The Warriors (9-5 overall, 2-5 Commonwealth) were led by Jackson, who scored twice and added five caused turnovers and five ground balls. Senior
Casey Maguire (Egg Harbor Township, N.J./Egg Harbor Township) and junior
Katie Cox (Crownsville, Md./Old Mill) each also scored for the Warriors. Freshman
Jordan Lazarich (Deer Park, N.Y./Deer Park) posted three ground balls and added an assist and a caused turnover.

The Mustangs (10-6 overall, 6-1 Commonwealth) jumped out to a three-goal lead before Maguire found the back of the net on a wrap-around goal to make it 3-1 six minutes into the game. Stevenson scored 10 straight after that to take control.

Kathryn Merrick led the Mustangs with six goals and two assists and Tori Wagner, Brady Heher and Olivia Monteiro each also added three goals. Merrick also added seven draw controls and Taylor Wright picked up four ground balls.

Leanne Bittner earned the win in net for the Mustangs, as she made two saves in 46 minutes. Sophomore
Nicole Gerling (Millstone Township, N.J./Allentown) (9-5) stopped eight shots for the Warriors.

The Warriors get back on the field on Thursday, April 23, when they host Keystone at 4 p.m. at the Shangraw Athletic Complex.
