Seth Lansberry (Klingerstown, Pa./Line Mountain) has earned his second career Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference Wrestler of the Week award, the conference office announced on Tuesday, Dec. 8.

Lansberry won five matches en route to the 149-pound title at the ONU Invitational for his first career tournament title, posting a win over a D-II ranked wrestler and a contender in the d3wrestle.com rankings. He opened the tournament with a 6-0 win over Tyler Majoy of Heidelberg in a pigtail match before posting a 13-3 major decision over Campbellsville's Deven Taylor in the round of 16. He notched a 5-1 win over Olivet's Austin Kelly in the quarterfinals before defeating Division II's eighth-ranked wrestler, Michael Screptock of Tiffin, 3-2, in the semifinals for his 75th career win.

In the finals, Lansberry scored a sudden victory takedown for a 6-4 win against Heidelberg's Damon Cheek, listed three spots below Lansberry in the contender portion of the d3wrestle.com rankings.

Now with a 76-17 career record, Lansberry is 10-1 as a junior. He also won the ECWC Wrestler of the Week award on Nov. 19, 2014. Lansberry won three ECWC Rookie of the Week honors in 2013-14 and he has also won the Middle Atlantic Conference Wrestler of the Week award three times.

The Warriors get back on the mat on Monday, Dec. 21, when they head to the Washington & Lee Duals, where they will face Southern Virginia, Washington & Lee and Greensboro.
