NEWVILLE, Pa. – The Lycoming College women's cross country team posted the third-best finish in program history at the NCAA Mideast Regionals on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 14, finishing in 42
nd out of 50 teams at Big Spring High School. The men's team finished in 50
th place, as two runners crossed the 30-minute barrier on the 8K course to wrap up the season.

Lindsay Decker (Shapleigh, Maine/Massabesic) led the women's squad at the regional for the third season in a row, posting a time of 26:00.4 on the 6K course to finish 194
th in the field of 365 runners. Junior
Sarah Donovan (Bergen, N.Y./Byron-Bergen) finished second on the squad with a time of 26:46.3 to take 233
rd and sophomore
Rachel Fritz (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale Area) took third at 26:59.4.

Victoria Wilson (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland) took fourth on the team, posting a time of 27:20.0 and junior
Abigail O'Connor (Mt. Holly Springs, Pa./Home-schooled) rounded out the scoring five with a career-best time of 29:18.4 to take 324
th. Senior
Rachel Salmon (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) notched a time of 29:49.4 and senior
Anna Summers (Shamokin, Pa./Shamokin Area) posted a time of 30:50.4 to wrap up their careers.

The team's performance was the third-best in school history at the race, as it finished 41
st in 2012 and 37
th in 2013.

On the men's side, junior
Jacob Miller (Cooperstown, N.Y./Cooperstown Central) led the team with a time of 29:40.0, as he broke the 30-minute barrier for the third straight race to take 255
th in the field of 371 runners. Sophomore
James Hamm (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) also crossed the 30-minute barrier, posting a time of 29:58.8 to take 269
th.
