GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Lycoming College women's soccer team fell to No. 1 Messiah College, 10-0, in a Commonwealth Conference game on Tuesday night, Oct. 7, at Shoemaker Field.

The Falcons (12-0 overall, 2-0 Commonwealth) were led by three goals and an assist by Nikki Elsaesser and three goals from Marisa Weaver, as the top-ranked team posted five goals in each half.

Joelle Winey (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata) made four saves in net for the Warriors (3-10 overall, 0-2 Commonwealth).

Lycoming took three shots in the game, forcing Messiah keeper Audra Larson to make two saves.

The Warriors get back in action on Saturday, Oct. 11, when they head to Albright for a 5:30 p.m. Commonwealth Conference game.
