LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Eight members of the Lycoming College cross country teams posted career-best times to lead the team at the Lock Haven University Go Fast River Run on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 25, as five women and three men posted their career-best times on the course.

The women's team placed 15
th in the competitive field of 19 teams, which featured mainly Divison II squads and only two other Division III squads. The men's team placed 15
th out of 16 teams.

The women's squad, in a field of 191 runners, were led once again by sophomore
Sarah Donovan (Bergen, N.Y./Byron-Bergen), who finished in 25:38.33 to take 91
st on the 6K course. Junior
Lindsay Decker (Shapleigh, Maine/Massabesic) posted a time of 25:58.25 to take 102
nd and senior
Kelsey Rawson (Waldorf, Md./North Point) finished in 141
st with a time of 28:03.85, just ahead of junior
Rachel Salmon (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain), who finished in 28:04.51.

Freshman
Lindsay Smith (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) rounded out the top five Warriors with a career-best time of 28:18.30 to take 146
th. Freshman
Sarah Toth (North Granby, Conn./Granby Memorial) took 147
th in 28:35.84 and junior
Anna Summers (Shamokin, Pa./Shamokin) rounded out the team's top seven in 158
th in 28:58.20.

Jacqueline Croteau (Islip, N.Y./Islip) (29:43.72), junior
Erin Hale (Oakfield, N.Y./Oakfield-Alabama) (29:58.63) and senior
Sam Stropko (Sayre, Pa./Athens) (29:58.96) also posted career-best times.

On the men's side, in a field of 181 runners, freshman
James Hamm (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) finished 106
th with a time of 29:30.48 to lead the team on the 8K course, while freshman
Sean Hastings (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) finished 125
th in 30:10.16. Junior
Peter Rittenhouse (Green Lane, Pa./Quakertown Community) (30:32.17, 132
nd), sophomore
Jacob Miller (Cooperstown, N.Y./Cooperstown Central) (30:38.48, 135
th) and freshman
Joseph Ingrum (Lodi, Calif./Lodi) (career-best 30:40.37, 137
th) rounded out the top five.

Josh Cram (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) rounded out the team's top seven with a career-best time of 33:42.39. Freshman
Alexander Wherthey (Johnstown, Pa./Bishop McCort) also had a career-best time of 36:40.93.

The Warriors get back on the course on Saturday, Nov. 1, when they head to the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships, with the women running at 11 a.m. before the men race at 12 p.m.
