SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Sophomores
Maggie Slawson (Armagh, Pa./United) and
Kristine Jahn (Enola, Pa./Cumberland Valley) posted seven kills each to lead the Lycoming College volleyball team, but Centennial Conference-leading Swarthmore was able to post a 3-0 (25-13, 25-15, 25-21) win in non-conference action at Tarble Pavilion on Saturday, Oct. 25.

The Warriors (17-14 overall) also had six kills and 12 digs from sophomore
Lauren Fink (York, Pa./West York) and freshman
Catherine Burger (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford) notched 20 assists and six digs.

Swarthmore (21-5 overall) hit .286 in the match, as Bridget Scott, Alice Liu and Chastity Hopkins each posted six kills to lead the team. Sam DuBois notched 20 assists and 10 digs, Malia Scott posted 11 assists and eight digs and Amanda Reed posted two assists and 10 digs. Both Scott and Olivia Levanthal added three aces.

The Warriors get back on the court on Saturday, Nov. 1, when they head to Elizabethtown for a 1 p.m. match before facing Wilkes to cap the tri-match in a 3 p.m. first serve.
