FREDERICK, Md. – The Lycoming College women's soccer team fired 10 shots on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 25, but Hood College used a second-half score to sneak away with a 1-0 Commonwealth Conference win.
Alyssa Nubgaard started the scoring play in the 59
th minute, taking a shot that was rebounded and deposited by Jessie Herbert.
Freshman
Joelle Winey (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata) stopped three shots for the Warriors (3-14 overall, 0-6 Commonwealth), while Alexis Andrukat stopped five in the shutout for the Blazers (5-10-3 overall, 1-4-1 Commonwealth).

The Warriors get back on the field on Wednesday, Oct. 29, when they host Stevenson at 3 p.m. at the Shangraw Athletic Complex in a Commonwealth Conference game.
