WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Two first-half goals from Maggie Boehler helped lift the University of Pittsburgh Bradford women's soccer team to a 3-0 win over Lycoming College on Sunday, Sept. 8, at the Shangraw Athletic Complex.

The Warriors (1-3 overall) began to open up their offense a bit in the second half, taking all four of the team's shots in the half and forcing Pitt-Bradford's keeper to make three saves, including a leaping save on a header by sophomore

Boehler gave the Panthers an early lead, scoring in the 11
th minute before adding another score in the 37
th. Melissa Smith added a score in the 65
th minute to go with her assist on Boehler's first goal.

Caitlin Dougherty (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) moved into fifth alone on the school's all-time saves list with 136, as she made four stops in the game. Pitt-Bradford keeper Danielle Erdley stopped three shots in 85 minutes before Brooke Redfern finished the game.

The Warriors get back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 11, when they head to LaPlume, Pa., for a 4 p.m. contest at Keystone College.
