Emily Truett (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville) scored her first goal of the season in the second minute to lead the Lycoming College women's soccer team, but FDU-Florham scored three goals in the first half to rebound and post a 7-1 non-conference win on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 28.

Truett's early goal came with a kick from deep that flew into the back of the net, giving the Warriors (1-7 overall) an early lead, but Claire Donohue, who also scored three goals in the 2012 meeting against the team, notched three first-half goals to clinch the win for the Devils (4-6 overall).

Brittni Calleo added two second-half goals and a first-half assist for FDU-Florham.

Caitlin Dougherty (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) stopped 17 shots in net for the Warriors, as the Devils took 29 shots. Lycoming took six shots, forcing FDU-Florham keeper Annie George to make two stops.

The Warriors get back on the field on Wednesday, Oct. 2, when they host Penn College in the annual Battle for the Lumber at 4 p.m.
