Warriors’ unbeaten streak snapped at Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Lycoming College men's soccer team saw its unbeaten streak snap at six games on Saturday night, Sept. 28, at the University of Rochester, as Rochester scored once in each half to post a 2-0 non-conference win at Fauver Stadium.
 
The Warriors (5-3-1 overall) wrapped up the non-conference portion of its season against the Yellowjackets (7-1-1 overall), who are receiving votes in the NSCAA Division III poll.
 
Keith Grafmeyer got the Yellowjackets on the board in the 32nd minute and Jeff Greblick scored in the 86th to wrap up the win.
 
The Warriors were outshot, 21-3, as junior goalkeeper Connor Keenan (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East) notched 10 saves in a great performance to keep Lycoming in the game. Mike Moranz collected the shutout for Rochester.
 
The Warriors get back on the field on Saturday, Oct. 5, when they head to Stevenson for a 5 p.m. game to open the Commonwealth Conference season.
