WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – A pair of second-half goals helped lift the Lycoming College men's soccer team to a 2-1 win over Juniata College on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 17, at the Shangraw Athletic Complex. The win was the Warriors' fourth straight, the longest winning streak for the program since 2009, and it dropped Juniata from the ranks of the unbeaten.

Lycoming (4-2 overall) came out of the break on fire, scoring the first goal just 63 seconds into the half, as freshman
Moises Lazo (Bowie, Md./Bowie) connected with freshman
Alfonce Mutuku (Beltsville, Md./DeMatha Catholic), who fired a shot into the right corner netting from 12 yards out on the left side.

Just 11 minutes later, the Warriors struck again, as junior
Luke Klingler (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg Area) lifted a perfect corner kick in front of the center of the net and senior
Justin Walker (Stroudsburg, Pa./Moravian Academy) connected on his first career goal.

Juniata (5-1-1 overall) closed the gap in the 89
th minute, as Steven Stroup got a shot past a diving keeper to make it 2-1, but Lycoming held the team off for the final 70 seconds to score the win.

Connor Keenan (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East) finished with four saves in the win. Juniata's Blaine Barsch stopped three shots in 72 minutes before James Johnson stopped one in the final 18.
