Warriors fall to Dutchmen

Box Score ANNVILLE, Pa. – Senior Caitlin Dougherty (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) made 17 saves to lead the Lycoming College women's soccer team, but Lebanon Valley used four first-half goals to notch a 5-0 win in Commonwealth Conference action at Herbert Field on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 9.
 
Dougherty faced 29 shots, making 17 stops to give her 202 in her career while playing 80 minutes. Sophomore Megan Maurer (Hummelstown, Pa./Central Dauphin East) stopped two shots in the last 10 minutes.
 
Lebanon Valley (6-4-2 overall, 1-1 Commonwealth) was led by three goals and an assist from Sammy Bost and a goal and assist from Amanda Douglass. Heather Tran also posted a goal and assist.
 
Taylor Reinhold earned the win for the Dutchmen, playing the first 76 minutes before Amy Overpeck finished the shutout, making one save in 14 minutes.
 
The Warriors (1-10 overall, 0-2 Commonwealth) get back on the field on Friday, Oct. 11, when they head to PPL Park to take on Widener in Commonwealth Conference action at 5 p.m.
