Luke Klingler (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg Area) added a goal and assists.
Lycoming (1-0 overall) got on the board in the first half as senior
Will Reiber (Crofton, Md./South River) posted the team’s first goals of the season on a dish from Marion.
The Warriors opened the game in the second half, as senior
Charlie Vess (Lexington Park, Md./Great Mills) added a goal on a dish from senior
Mike Krebs (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) and senior
Matt Snively (Hollywood, Md./Leonardtown) scored on Marion’s second helper.
Freshman
Nick Neverman (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg) scored on his first collegiate touch on a give from Klingler and Klingler scored on a pass from senior
Vincent Marinucci (Caldwell, N.J./James Caldwell) to round out the team’s scoring.
Senior
James Quinn (Buffalo, N.Y./Kenmore East) played the first 70 minutes in net for the Warriors, making one stop before yielding to sophomore
Connor Keenan (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East), who played the last 20 minutes and made one save.
The Warriors are back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 5 as they head to Susquehanna for the Battle for the Boot. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
