WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College women’s soccer team forced the Pitt-Bradford keeper to make nine saves on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 18, but the Warriors couldn’t dent the twine, falling, 2-0, in non-conference action at a sun-splashed Shangraw Athletic Complex.

In the first half, the Panthers got on the board in the 15th minute as Courtney Hodgins scored on a high shot into the center of the net on a give from Dani Zeamer. Zeamer added a tally in the 43rd minute, scoring on a shot to the near side post.
In net, freshman Sam Stropko (Sayre, Pa./Athens) made seven stops, including three on as many shots in the second stanza.
The Warriors get back on the field on Tuesday, Sept. 20, when they host rival Susquehanna in the River Derby at 4 p.m. at the Shangraw Athletic Complex.
