HARRISBURG, Pa. – Three members of the Lycoming College golf team competed at the Messiah College Falcon Classic on Tuesday, April 26, at the Blue Ridge Country Club. Senior Jed Simpson (Hillsdale, N.J./Pascack Valley) led the Warriors on the par-72, 6,615-yard course, posting an 88 to finish in a tie for 56th.
Junior Robert Jumper (Carlisle, Pa./Boiling Springs) posted a 91 to finish in a tie for 68th and junior Chris Butterworth (Shillington, Pa./Governor Mifflin) carded a 97 to finish 85th.
Albright took the team title with a score of 322. Dickinson College's Tucker Joyce earned individual medalist honors with a 74.
The Warriors wrap up their season at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships at the Hershey Country Club on Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1.
