Box Score LANCASTER, Pa. – Sophomore James Quinn (Tonawanda, N.Y./Kenmore East) made a career-high seven saves in goal, but the Lycoming College men’s soccer team fell victim to a 3-0 decision at Franklin & Marshall on Wednesday afternoon.
P.J. Succoso scored the first goal in the fifth minute and the Diplomats (2-2 overall) added a pair of goals late in the second half as Rob Hassler and Preston Kilgore scored.
The Warriors (3-3 overall) posted eight shots on goal led by two each from senior Brad Houseknecht (Milford, Pa./Delaware Vallet) and fresman Jamison Alleman (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) leading the way.
The Warriors held a 10-4 advantage in corner kicks.
Zack Zamek made two stops in goal for the Diplomats. Quinn stopped five of his seven shots in the first half.
The Warriors get back into action on Saturday night when they head to the Balls Mills Soccer Complex for the Battle for the Lumber against Penn College. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m.
