READING, Pa. – Despite outshooting Albright College, 11-5, the Lycoming College women’s soccer team wrapped up its 2010 season with a tough 1-0 Commonwealth Conference loss on the road on Saturday, Oct. 30.

Isla Wilczynski scored the game-winner in the 13th minute, as she found the far post on a high cross that went over the keepers head.

The Warriors complete their 2010 campaign with a 7-8-1 overall record and a 0-6-1 mark in the Commonwealth Conference. Albright improved to 8-8-3 overall and 1-5-1 in the Commonwealth.

Senior Kati Shaner (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville) kept the pressure on the Lions, taking four shots and two on goal, but Olivia Giuliano made six saves to preserve the shutout.

Freshman Caitlin Dougherty (Douglasville, Pa./Daniel Boone) made two stops on Albright’s five shots.
